RF Code Adds PDU Sensors

Austin-based RF Code, the developer of real time, IT asset management and monitoring products, said this morning that it has added a new, wireless PDU sensor for monitoring power distribution units (PDUs) from Emerson. The firm said that the sensor plugs into a port on Emerson's hardware, and transmits power usage data to its products and software. The firm said the sensor will reduce the high cost of Ethernet-based poewr monitoring of the devices. Pricing on the new sensor was not announced.
