RF Code Adds Temperature, Humidity Sensor
Austin-based RF Code, the provider of wireless IT and asset management systems, has expanded its line of sensors it offers, saying this week that it has added a wireless temperature-humidity sensor to its lineup. The firm said it has launched a five year temperature and humidity sensor tag, which uses its active RFID technology to eliminate the need for cabling for deployment. The new product adds to a selection of wire-free environmental monitoring products developed by the firm, and is targeted at IT data centers and similar operations. RF Code, which is run by Mitch Medford, is venture backed by Hunt Ventures, QuestMark Partners, and Intel Capital, among others.
