ReviewAnalyst Acquired By TrustYou

Dallas-based ReviewAnalyst, a developer of a social media monitoring tool for hotels and restaurants, has been acquired, according to TrustYou, a firm developing social media monitoring and semantics technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to TrustYou, the acquisition came as it also secured $5M in a Series A funding round led by Credit Agricole Private Equity. Both TrustYou and ReviewAnalyst mine online websites for opinions on hotel operators, restaurants, and other businesses, tallying up a score of online reviews for those businesses.
