Univa Ties With Cloud Software Firm

Austin-based Univa, which develops data center management software, said today that it has linked with cloud software firm StackIQ, in a reseller and marketing deal. Univsa said that StackIQ will market, sell, and support its Univa Grid Engine product to customers and reseller channels. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Univa's Grid Engine product helps provide distributed resource management for compute clusters.
