SURGE Accelerator Opens Apps For Accelerator Program
Houston's SURGE Accelerator, the business acceleration program, has opened up applications for the group's Spring 2012 program, the firm said Tuesday. The accelerator said it is looking for entrepreneurs looking to solve the world's energy problems using software, who are interested in participating in its 12 week mentoring program. SURGE is also offering pu $30,000 in cash plus $20,000 in in-kind partner services for companies that become part of its program. SURGE said it will select finalists, to be announced in late January 2012, who will start with the program in March of 2012. Those companies will present to investors in May. SURGE Accelerator is managed by Kirk Coburn.
