SURGE Accelerator Opens Applications For New Class
Houston-based energy startup accelerator SURGE Accelerator said yesterday that it has opened up applications for its Spring 2015 class. According to the accelerator--which focuses on startups in the areas of oil & gas, power & utilities, industrial, cleantech, and water sectors--it now has mentored a total of three classes, totaling 34 companies, since launching in Spring of 2012. The accelerator is managed by Kirk Coburn. Deadline for applications for the accelerator is October 15th. The accelerator said its companies have raised a total of $30M in follow on funding.
