Spiceworks Adds Warranty Renewals

Austin-based Spiceworks has expanded the range of services it provides through its IT monitoring and management software, saying this morning that it has added a new, online warranty renewal feature to its product, in a deal with a third party warranty provider. Spiceworks said that users can now go to an online warranty renewal configuration page, to help provide a way to renew warranties for servers, desktops, laptops, and printers. Spiceworks said it is working with Worldwide TechServices to provide the warranty service. Spiceworks explained that it wants to make it more affordable for its users to manage their device warranty renewals.
