Entrust Wins $4.5M Deal
Dallas-based Entrust, a provider of security and digital certificate products, reported today that it has been awarded a $4.5M contract by the U.S. Government, to provide PKI services and digital certificates through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Entrust said its products, which have been being used by the government since 2007, are being used to provide authenticated credentials to federal employees and contractors at more than 90 government agencies. Entrust was previously part of a larger, $66.3M contract run by EDS (now HP Enterprise Solutions). Entrust said the new contract provides it "more flexibility" in the services it is providing to the U.S. government.
