OrthoAccel Signs Italian Distributor

Houston-based OrthoAccel, the developer of a device which speeds up the rate of orthodontic treatments, reported today that it has inked a distribution deal with an Italian distributor. The firm said it has signed an agreement with Micerium S.p.A., based in Avegno, Italy, to distribute the device exclusively in Italy. The firm said that Italy is a key international market for the company. The firm is currently undergoing FDA reviews on its device, which has been sold outside the USA since October of 2009.
