Eltek Wins Volvo EV Contract

Eltek, the manufacturer of power conversion products which has major operations in Richardson, said Monday that it has scored a contract to supply on-board chargers for Volvo, in a new electric vehicle project. Eltek said it will provide a water-cooled, on-board charger to Volvo's hybrid electrical vehicle program, with volume production starting in 2012. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Eltek's headquarters are in Norway.
