Gazzang Ties With Amazon Web Services

Auston-based Gazzang, which provides a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) product which helps organizations implement open source software tools, said today that it has linked with Amazon Web Services via Amazon's AWS Solution Provier Program. The firm said the link will allow Amazon customers to gain access to a high performance encryption engine for data protection, access control and key management. The link makes Gazzang's ezNcrypt Flex Platform--used for encryption key management of databases and web servers--easier to use with AWS. Gazzang is backed by Austin Ventures, and is run by Larry Warnock.
