Object Reservoir Names CTO

Houston-based Object Reservoir, which develops software used for shale gas reservoir modeling and forecasting in the oil and gas business, said this week that it has named Mark A. Miller, Ph.D., PE, as its new Chief Technology Officer. Miller was previously running his own consulting practice, after serving as at Object Reservoir from 2002 to 2006. He also was at the Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering faculty of the University of Texas at Austin. Object Reservoir said Miller has nearly 40 years of experience in the area, and is behind the company's own ORKA Limits shale gas reservoir engineering software.
