Charmed Labs Launches Object Tracking Sensor For LEGO Mindstorms

Did you ever want to build your own, object tracking robot using LEGO Mindstorms? Well, it turns out it's not too hard, thanks to a new product from an Austin company, Charmed Labs. Charmed Labs said today that it has launched a new version of its Pixy camera, which can track objects, which enables LEGO Mindstorms users to build robots which can track an object, chase a ball, and much more. Pixy says its camera handles all image processing on board, and can detect and track hundreds of object simultaneously. The new camera also works with the embedded Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and BeagleBone Black microcontrollers. The camera sensor costs $69.00.
