Austin Technology Incubator Attracted 13 Firms To Austin In 2011
The Austin Technology Incubator said this morning that in managed to help relocate thirteen companies to Austin in 2011, via its Landing Pad Program. The program, in its first formal year, helps support early stage technology companies gain access to resources in the Austin business ecosystem. According to the ATI, it helped firms Amatra, BlackLocus, Convergence Wireless, Digital Harmony Games, Drivve, DXUp Close, SceneTap, Social Muse, Tactical Information Systems and V-Chain Solutions all relocate into the area. In addition, the ATI said that it worked with serial entrepreneur ben Dyer--known for his technology blog and news site TechDrawl--move to Austin and relocate two new startups, NightRaft and BeHome247.
