Famigo Raises $1M For Family Friendly Mobile Apps
Austin-based Famigo, the startup which helps families find family-friendly apps for their smartphones and tablets, said this morning that it has raised $1M in a seed round of financing. The round was led by Silverton Partners, and also included Zilker Ventures, Liahona Ventures and Capital Factory. Famigo, which is headed by Q Beck, lets families find mobile apps which have been reviewed and checked for family-friendliness. The round comes on top of an earlier seed investment from Capital Factory in 2009. More information »
