UTSA Hosts Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition
The University of Texas at San Antonio will be at the center of a lot of computer hacking and security breaches next month--but, for a good reason--as the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition kicks off next month at the school. Students will be honing their skills at the university, which is hosting the event for the seventh year. The competition challenges college students to secure networks and identify network breaches in a series of events designed to sharpen the skills of future cyber security professionals. The ten competing schools in the competition already made it to the top of regional competitions; Texas A&M University's team is representing the southwest region in the competition. The three day event starts on April 20th.
