Venture Backed Lumeris To Hire 100 In Austin

Lumeris, a venture-backed, healthcare technology company with current operations in ST. Louis, Boston, and Hyderabad, said today that it is opening up a new technology center in Austin, with plans to hire 100 employees in 2012. The firm--which is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins, Caufield & Byers, Camden Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield Venture Partners and Sandbox Capital--said it is building a software engineering and innovation center in Austin, to add to an existing 550 current employees in its other locations. Lumeris develops a cloud-based, performance management, predictive analytics, and point of care decision tools software product.
