Conde Nast Opens Digital Innovation Center In Austin, To Hire 50
Publishing giant Conde Nast says it will be opening up a new "Digital Innovation Center" in Austin, and will hire 50 in the location, the company announced Monday. Conde Nast, which publishes a wide range of publications, ranging from Allure and Arstechnica, to The New Yorker and Wired, said it is setting up a new outpost in Austin to tap into the area's talent base. According to Conde Nast, it will open the office in July, and hopes to hire 50 people by the end of the first year in the areas of engineering, product, and design. The company said its permanent Austin outpost will help it attract and cultivate top talent for the company, saying that Austin is "ann epicenter of digital talent and creativity."
