Accenture Opens New Technology Center In Houston
Accenture said Wednesday that it has officially opened up a new "innovation hub" in Houston, which it says it will use to help its clients "grow, compete, and transform in the digital economy." Accenture said the "innovation hub" is the first of ten that it hopes to open nationwide, as part of an effort to hire 15,000 new employees over the next four years. Accenture cited Houston's location as an "attractive destination for entrepreneurs and startups" in locating the new center in the city. Accenture said the center will use emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, drones with computer vision, and virtual reality, for business goals.
