Accenture Closes Structure Buy, Bolstering Energy Chops

Houston-based IT outsourcing firm Accenture said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of fellow Houston company Structure, part of an effort to strengthen its expertise in the smart grid and energy trading and risk management market. Finances behind the deal haven't been announced by either company. Accenture is hiring Structure's approximately 200 employees as part of its North American Resources operating group.
