LabAnswer Acquired By Accenture

Sugar Land, Texas-based LabAnswer, a research and laboratory informatics technology consulting firm, has been acquired by consulting giant Accenture, Accenture announced on Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Accenture said it will use the acquisition to create a new business, Accenture Scientific Informatics Services, which will combine the capabilities and resources from LabAnswer with Accenture's existing R&D informatics capabilities. LabAnswer had approximately 250 employees.
