Accenture Boosts Cybersecurity Effort In San Antonio
Accenture said on Wednesday that it is boosting its cybersecurity efforts in San Antonio, and will be opening up a new Federal Cyber Center in the city. According to Accenture, the new operation will offer up cybersecurity-as-a-service for government agencies. Accenture did not say how many people it will have at the new Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Cyber Center, however, it says the center is part of a larger expansion of Accenture Federal Services in San Antonio. Accenture says it already has more than 1,300 people at its two primary San Antonio locations. The company said recently that it plans to add more than 500 full time jobs in the area over the next four years, part of a $5M investment and expansion of its Advanced Technology Center in San Antonio.
