Travelocity Aims At Developers With APIs
Southlake-based Travelocity, the online travel booking site, is looking to attract third party developers to the service, with a new developer's portal. According to the firm, the portal provides a comprehensive toolkit for Travelocity's partner developers, allowing them to gain access to hotel availability, rates, inventory, booking confirmations, and much more via software. The API is aimed at hotels who want to better connect into the Travelocity system. Travelocity said it tapped Mashery, a developer of API technology and services, for the APIs.
