Match.com Gets Into Live Events
Dallas-based online dating site Match.com is branching into live events, the company said this morning, and is launching a new service called The Stir. According to Match.com, the new service will bring single people together in thousands of events nationwide. The events will begin rolling out to Match.com subscribers this summer, with plans to expand to 20 U.S. cities by June. Match.com said it is hoping to take advantage of its national membership to power the new event service, which will include everything from large events to cooking classes, wine tastings, dance lessons, and more.
