Dell Expands Cloud Services To Canada, Europe

Dell said today that it is expanding its hybrid and cloud computing services, run out of its Plano services arm, to both Canada and Europe. Dell said the Dell Cloud with VMware vCloud Datacenter Services are available now in Canada, with launch in Europe on August 31st. The services--which were also recently launched here in the U.S.--help companies implement and access hybrid and public cloud computing services. The DellCloud with VMware vCloud Datacenter Service provides a cloud-based, enterprise infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offering hosted in Dell's data centers, and allows enterprise customers to shift their existing VMware workloads to the cloud.
