NextIO Enhances Software

Austin-based NextIO, the developer of I/O virtualization and consolidation products, said today that it has added "significant enhancements" to its vNet I/O Maestro solution. The firm said the updates come via a new version of its nControl management software. New features of the product include suport for VMware vSphere 5, Citrix XENServer, Linux KVM Hypervisor, and Microsoft Hyper-V, enhanced statistics information, and more. NextIO is venture backed by Adams Capital Management, Crescendo Ventures, Dell Computer, JK&B Capital, and VentureTech Alliance.
