ORIX Backs Fuhu's Android Tablet Efforts

Dallas-based venture debt provider ORIX Ventures said today that it has provided $10M in venture debt financing to Fuhu, a developer of an Android tablet aimed at kids. Terms of the venture debt deal were not announced. Fuhu develops the nabi tablet, an Android 4.0 tablet which includes educational content and applications, and is sold in retail at retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop, and online at Amazon.com and Target.
