Tabbedout Ties Into NCR POS Systems

Austin-based TabbedOut, the developer of mobile payment apps for restaurant and bar tabs, has linked its software into another point-of-sale system. TabbedOut said its app now works with the NCR Aloha restaurant point-of-sale technology. NCR is a major provider of POS systems to restaurants and the retail industry. TabbedOut said the integration will mean a larger segment of bars and restaurants will be able to use its mobile payment app. TabbedOut's app allows patrons to pay and track their tab on their mobile phone. TabbedOut also has integrated its system with a nearly a half dozen other point-of-sale equipment providers.
