CanWeNetwork Looks To Connect Business Users Via Mobile App

A new startup, CanWe Studios, based in Austin, said this morning that it has launched a new, mobile business networking tool called CanWeNetwork. The new app, which runs on both Apple iOS and Android, lets users find other business users, matching them based on location, skill set, experience, shared interests, and personality traits. CanWe uses data from LinkedIn, and applies big data techniques to help match up users, to encourage in-person connections. CanWe said it is augmenting the information from LinkedIn with data from other sources, to help match people who are most likely to help each other.
