SpareFoot Expands, Helps Connect Self Storage Customers With Moving Trucks

Austin-based SpareFoot expanded the breadth of its business this week, saying that it will now connect its users to discounted truck rentals, through its relationship with local self storage facilities. SpareFoot says that it will help users--and local self storage operators--by how let users find moving trucks with storage, helping its users identify facilities which offer up both of those services. Many self storage facilities already offer up moving trucks with their services. SpareFoot said it launched the new service because it found that storage customers often didn't know--until too late--that the storage facilities they were interested in offered up free or discounted truck rental.
