SpareFoot Doubles Full Service Storage Reach

Austin-based online self storage marketplace SpareFoot announced this morning that it is doubling the number of metro areas where it is offering up its "full-service storage" offering, where it picks up, stores, and returns items on demand. According to SpareFoot, the service is now available in almost 50 markets. SpareFoot said the "full service storage" service has been particularly in demand during moving season (May-July), and also when college students are moving in and out in May and August. The full service storage service follows the lead of a number of on-demand storage startups, who have been catering to users eager to store their belongings, but who do not want to move their things to a self-storage facility themselves, or do not have a vehicle to move their belongings to a self storage location.
