RadioShack Board Whacks CEO

Fort Worth-based technology retailer RadioShack said early this morning that James F. Gooch, the firm's CEO, has stepped down, as part of an agreement between Gooch and the board. Reasons for the CEO turnover were not announced by the company, but the firm's board said it is in the process of retaining an executive search firm to help conduct a search for a successor. In the meantime, Dorin Lively, the company's current EVP and CFO, is serving as acting CEO.
