Solera Holdings Buys Web Software Firm

Westlake, Texas-based automotive insurance claims handling software provider Solera Holdings announced today that one if its subsidiaries has signed an agreement to acquire Title Technologies (TitleTech), a developer of web-based softwaer for streamlining the operation of automotive dealerships. TitleTec's software allows those dealerships to register a vehicle, produce a title, and issue a permanent or temporary tag real-time at the point of sale. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
