Battlecry Studios Sets Up Shop In Austin

A new game studio, Battlecry Studios, has set up shop in Austin, led by the former head of BioWare, according to gaming industry publications. The studio is part of ZeniMax Media's Bethesda Softworks unit, and will be led by former Star Wars: The Old Republic executive producer Rich Vogel. The firm did not say what project the new studio will work on, but ZeniMax had at least a dozen positions listed on its web site in Austin, ranging from art directors and character artists to senior gameplay programmers and server programmers.
