CopperEgg Rolls Out Fileserver Capacity Tool
Austin-based cloud monitoring software firm CopperEgg said Monday that it has released a new tool used to monitor filesystems on public and private clouds. The firm said the new tool, built on the CopperEgg API, extracts, analyzes, and reports on historical server filesystem usage data collected from Linux systems. The new tool can be used to monitor and study filesystem capacity, including figuring out which servers are likely to have problems soon, which filesystems are growing fastest, and more. The software is available for free on GitHub.
