Dave & Buster's Taps Xbox Co-Creator As VP

Dallas-based restaurant chain Dave & Buster's has snagged a former Xbox executive as its new Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Game Strategy, the company said today. The restaurant chain said it has hired Kevin Bachus to head up efforts to evolve Dave & Buster's from its on-premise based entertainment, to multi-platform gaming, including mobile and online. The company said Bachus was one of the four individuals at Microsoft who conceived the Xbox videogame console system. Bachus was previously Chief Product Officer at social networking firm Bebo, and also has served at Capital Entertainment Group and Nival Interactive.
