Dave & Buster's Expands Into Mobile Games

Dallas-based restaurant chain Dave & Buster's said this morning that it is expanding into mobile games, and has launched three new mobile games--based on some of its most popular arcade games--on iOS and Android. Dave & Buster's said the games, Speed of Light, Big Bass Wheel, and Tippin' Bloks, will also allow players to win real-world prices, redeemable at its brick-and-mortar locations. Dave & Buster's said players can win toys, video games, gaming consoles, and tablets by playing the mobile gmaes. The three mobile games were created by game studios Robosoft Technologies and Sarbakan. The company said the games come out of an effort led by Kevin Bachus, one of the original creators of the Microsoft Xbox, who was hired by the company in 2012 to help it evolve its on-premise, arcade into multiple platforms.
