OutboundEngine Raises $1.6M

Austin-based OutboundEngine, headed by Branndon Stewart, said today that it has raised $1.6M in a Series A investment round for its automated email and social media marketing service. The round came from Floodgate, Austin Ventures, Silverton Partners and Capital Factory. OutboundEngine helps small businesses automate marketing to their customers, and came out of Promo Labs.
