Austin Startup Games Set For Saturday
The Austin Startup Games, the annual event which brings out the startup community to help raise money for charity, is set for Saturday the 23rd, for its fifth year in a row. According to the organizers of the event, this year, fourteen Austin tech startups will compete in the games, which include everything from Ping Pong to Beer Pong, Darts to Shuffleboard, to MarioKart and Connect Four. Startups competing this year include Boundless Network, Capital Factory, Civitas Learning, theCHIVE, Headspring, LawnStarter, Modernize, OneSpot, OutboundEngine, OwnLocal, RideScout, Sparefoot, TrendKite, and uShip. Sparefoot won last year's startup games, albeit, with the help of a ringer in the form of "The Mountain".
