Startup Games Plans First Expansion Out Of Austin

Austin-based Startup Games, the group which uses fun competitions to build teamwork at companies and raise money for charity, says it is expanding its events beyond Austin, with an event planned for the fall in Denver, Colorado. The group--known for its competitions in such startup break room skills as Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Beer Pong, and MarioKart--says it will hold an event on Saturday, October 15th in Denver, its first outside of Austin. The group also has been expanding the scope and types of companies at its events, launching a more established, corporate event in Austin called Level Up earlier this year.
