Dell Extends Personal Cloud Storage Service
Need access to your personal files while on the go? Round Rock-based Dell has just upgraded its service today aimed at helping users share, organize, view, and access their personal files across Android, iOS, Windows, or web browsers. Dell said its new PocketCloud software--which will be installed as a standard app on all Dell XPS and Dell Inspiron laptops--will let users access their files on mobile devices and remote computers. The software comes from Dell's Wyse division, which was acquired by Dell in May. The new release includes new software for Windows RT Tablets, Apple iPad, and the web, and were previously available for iPhone and Android.
