HomeAway In Chinese Listings Deal

Austin-based HomeAway, the online vacation rental marketplace, said today that it is in a deal to offer up property listings to Chinese travelers through Tujia.com. HomeAway said the deal extends an investment it made in Tujia.com earlier this year. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. HomeAway said that the vacation rentals being made available to Tujia include the most desirable destinations for Chinese national traveling abroad, including Australia, Western Europe, Southeast Asia and the United States. As part of those listings, HomeAway said it has translated those listings to Mandarin Chinese, and will serve as an intermediary to help Chinese travelers book those homes in another language.
