HomeAway, Expedia.com In Major Deal

Austin-based HomeAway, and online travel site Expedia.com said this morning that they are in a major deal, which will feature travel accommodation offerings and travel rental properties from HomeAway on Expedia.com. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two said they expect to launch a pilot of the service early next year. The new deal calls for Homeaway's inventory of property in the U.S. and Mexico in Expedia.com's systems. The two said the deal is an expansion of a current deal with BedandBreakfast.com, another accommodations website which is owned and run by HomeAway.
