HomeAway To Be Acquired By Expedia For $3.9 Billion

Austin-based HomeAway and Expedia said Wednesday afternoon that Expedia has agreed to pay $3.9 billion in cash and stock for HomeAway. Expedia said it would pay roughly $38.31 per share of HomeAway stock, divided between $10.15 in cash and 0.2065 shares of Expedia common stock. The deal has been approved by the boards of both of the companies.
