ZTE Invests $30M In U.S. Operations

Smartphone manufacturer ZTE, which bases its U.S. operations out of Richardson, Texas, said today that it will invest $30M more in the U.S. market, to enhance its presence here. The firm said the move will also help create more U.S. jobs, and will go towards working with partners on technology, strengthening lab capabilities, and other infrastructure. The company did not say how or if the new investment will affect its operations in Richardson. ZTE has a number of positions listed at its Richardson location, including roles in finance, testing, and sales.
