Austin's Co-op Scores Mobile Award

The University Co-op has scored an award as one of the top 10 best mobile retailers, according to Austin-based mobile website developer Digby. Digby said the Co-op's mobile app--which it developed--was one of the 10 best mobile retailers ranked as part of Internet Retailer's recently issued list. Digby helped develop the first app for the University Co-op back in August of 2011. Internet Retailer apparently cited the effective use of packaged RSS feeds of Austin and campus newspapers and coverage of the University of Texas sports blog and campus webcams--all of which help drive sales--for the ranking.
