Gazzang Finds $4M In Funding
Austin-based Gazzang, the developer of Linux-based security and encryption tools, said Thursday that it has raised $4M in a funding round, as it saw a record 2012. The firm said that the funding came in December from Austin Ventures and Silver Creek Ventures. Gazzang said that its sales grew more than 4x between 2011 and 2012. The firm did not disclose any actual revenue numbers in the announcement. Gazzang is led by Larry Warnock. The firm's products include software to store and manage cryptographic keys, key backup and recovery services, encryption tools, and more. More information »
