Gazzang Gets $3.5M
Austin-based Gazzang, a developer of cloud infrastructure software, said today that it has raised $3.5M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Austin Ventures, and also included un-named individual investors. As part of the funding, the firm said that Larry Warnock, most recently at Phurnace Software, has joined the company as CEO. Gazzang's software is used to secure Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl (LAMP), and other open source software. Gazzang also has offices in Houston. More information »
