Mozido Taps Pakistani Prime Minister For Board
Austin-based mobile payment developer Mozido said today that it has tapped the former prime minster of Pakistan for its board of directors. Mozido said it added Shaukat Aziz, who served as Pakistan's prime minister (2004-2007) and finance minister (1999-2004), to its board, as part of its effort to drive its mobile financial services through developing countries. Aziz previously served for 30 years at Citibank, heading up institutional banking for the firm in Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa and later for Asia Pacific.
