Globalscape's TappIn Links Into Rackspace

San Antonio-based Globalscape said today that it has linked its TappIn cloud storage software into the Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace, to help Rackspace customers access their data. TappIn offers up software which helps users make their existing data available anywhere from PCs, mobile phones, and other platforms. TappIn is unique in that it exports files currently stored on office and home computers, and other storage locations, to other desktops and mobile devices--without requiring buying expensive cloud storage. Globalscape said Rackspace customers will get a 30 day free trail of its TappIn Pro Edition; users can then subscribe for $39.99 per year, or switch to its Standard Edition for $19.99 a year.
